Did you spot BlindsbyPost on This Morning?
Recently we collaborated with interior designer Georgina Burnetts to transform a local Blackpool hospital break room. We wanted to give something back, and contributed a bespoke set of Wooden blinds to help make the break room feel much more welcoming and inviting, so that the hard working NHS staff could have some restful time on their breaks. The initial scheme idea was to create a space that didn’t feel so clinical, like most places in a hospital. The idea was to bring in different textures and warmth through furniture and accessories, to really lighten the space and make it feel like a space that you’d want to relax in.
We knew that our Oregon Real Wood Wooden blinds would do just the trick at transforming the window areas in this room, and creating the right amount of ambiance so that the space felt inviting and put together. These Oregon Real Wood Wooden blinds have a luxury soft wooden grain, and their light tone makes them easy to style in a neutral room. As you can see Georgia paired them with white furnishings, rattan chairs, and monochromatic accessories and plenty of in-door greenery to really add some character to the room.
Wooden blinds are an absolute staple when it comes to a neutral scheme, as they always create such a welcoming look, while adding just the right amount of charm and elegance to the space. These blinds are also really long lasting and hard wearing, meaning they are perfect for busy break rooms like this one in Blackpool hospital. Our selection of real wood blinds are also so easy to hang, come in such a wide variety of sizes (literally) and are perfect for any room in the home. No matter your home style or taste, Real wood blinds are the perfect choice for your room.

Why you should buy Real Wooden blinds
Real Wood blinds are a great investment and can add a lot to any room. They have been a favourite amongst many for years, but people think they're just too expensive or that synthetic materials are just as good. However, there are several reasons why real wooden blinds are worth their price, and they're not all about appearance!/p>
Durability
- Real Wooden blinds are made of high-quality materials and will last longer than other blinds.
- If you ever need to repair your Real Wooden blinds, it's easy to do so. You can simply replace the broken parts/slats or have them repaired by a professional.
- Real Wooden blinds are durable, so they won't easily break or fall apart over time like some other types of window coverings may do.
- Real Wooden blinds are fire resistant, which means they won't burn as easily as other types of window coverings when exposed to flames or heat sources like candles or lamps!
Easier to Clean
Wood is easy to clean. You can use soap and water, a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner to clean your Wooden blinds. If you need something more gentle, try using a damp cloth instead of harsh chemicals that could damage the wood finish or leave streaks behind.
Style
Wooden blinds come in a wide range of styles, which means there's one to suit every room and style. If you want to add some colour to your home, choose from our range of colourful wooden blinds. Alternatively, if you prefer to keep things simple then our natural wood blinds will fit right in with the rest of your decor. Wooden blinds come in many different shapes and sizes so it's easy to find one that fits perfectly into any window space - whether it's horizontal or vertical! These shades offer more privacy thanks to their wooden slats that block light from coming through, keeping your room cool and private, all day long!
Wooden window coverings are one of the most popular choices for minimal, pared-back and simple schemes. Their variety of colours and wood grain means that each look can be completely unique, making your room feel like a beautiful and timeless space, perfect for a cosy night in or a room fit for hosting.
Easy to Hang
Wooden blinds are easy to hang. They can be installed by the DIYer or a professional, depending on your preference and budget. Wooden blinds have slats that are held together by metal brackets, which makes them very easy to install. You don't need special tools, just a screwdriver or drill with a screwdriver bit and some screws (if applicable).
Real wooden blinds are worth their price?
One of the biggest advantages of Real Wooden blinds is their durability. They can last for decades if you take care of them properly, which means that you won't have to worry about replacing them any time soon. They're also easy to clean and maintain thanks to their smooth finish. You don't need any special cleaning products or tools--just wipe them down with a damp cloth once in a while!
Another benefit is how easy they are to hang! The brackets are attached directly onto the window frame using screws. This makes installation quick and hassle-free without compromising the integrity of your home's structure or walls. As you can see, Real Wooden blinds have many benefits over their synthetic counterparts. They're more durable, easier to clean and more stylish. What's not to love about that?
