Hello Pascaline,
Thanks for your message.
The material of the blind is not a PVC/wipeable fabric but it is polyester so if mould builds up on the blinds due to your area being damp/moist, as the blinds are polyester they will help to not absorb moisture like other fabrics as it has an extremely tight weave which prevents water from passing through.
The blinds would however need to be visually inspected and cleaned prior to the mould appearing and the mould needs to be prevented though as the blinds are not waterproof. If you would like to try clean the blinds, we would advise cleaning a small area first with a slightly damp cloth/sponge and possibly a mild detergent if just a cloth doesn’t work.
You can limit the chances of damp/mould growing on your blinds by keeping your room well ventilated (opening a window or using a dehumidifier to clear condensation on the window and humidity in the air, for instance).
