If you are looking at our 89mm (3.5”) slat width blinds and the corner where you are fitting the blinds is a right angle, and the front blind will be your primary blind spanning the full width of your window with the side blind butting up to this blind and overlapping the large blind, please follow our guidance below:
- Measure the complete width of your primary/long window.
- For any obstructions, such as window handles, measure the distance from your window frame to the outside of your obstruction. Please then add 7.5cm to this measurement as this is the overall depth of the headrail.
- Then mark this measurement on the side of your window.
- For your side window, measure from the total depth mark from step 2, to where you’d like the blind to finish. This measurement is the width of your side/return blind.
- Measure the drop of your blinds by measuring the height of your windows in three different places, choosing the smallest measurement as the drop for your blinds.
- When ordering the blinds, enter your width and drop measurements and select recess as the measurement type for both blinds.
