For products qualifying for same day dispatch & free next day, please be aware that this is a production upgrade through the factory and not to be confused with a courier service. The order must be made before 11am and all products in the order must qualify for this. For any order after 11am, qualifying orders will dispatch the next working day.
Although we send all items on a next day service, due to our freight mostly being un-conveyable through the courier hub network our delivery partners ask that we allow 2 working days for any item sent by us.
To take advantage of our free promotion production upgrades, these must be selected in checkout. A delivery fee will be payable on any order under our threshold of £199.00, regardless of any free production promotion we advertise on our individual products.
For all our Roman Blinds with a width of over 1300mm, except for our Cyrus and Harlow ranges, we will require to use more than one width of fabric in manufacture.
This means the fabric and lining will need to be joined (and of course pattern matched if you've chosen a pattern).
On a blind that requires more than one width of fabric, we will ensure there is a full width of fabric in the centre of the blind with two vertical joins equidistant from the outer edges.
We are longstanding members of the British Blinds & Shutter Association (BBSA) and take the safety and care of young children very seriously.
As members of the BBSA we are committed to manufacture blinds that are child safe and to comply with the guidelines outlined in the British & European Safety Standards (BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014).
We supply all Vertical Blinds with the Cords & Chain Operation option selected, with a fixed tensioning device. The most inherently Child Safe Option, is to choose to operate the blind with a Wand Operation.
Fixed Tensioning Device
A fixed tensioning device has been designed to ensure cords are fixed to the wall, to prevent any looped hazards from being present. As the installation height of your window is unknown, for blinds with a drop of less than 250cm, the chain length will be no longer than 100cm or for blinds with a drop of more than 250cm, the chain length will be equal to the blind drop less 150cm.
We will not make any exceptions for customer requests for any longer chain lengths required, if you would like to query the chain length we would supply for a specific blind size or provide us with an Install Height of your window, the we will be happy to apply this specific instruction to your order - however this must be done within 1 hour of placing your order, by eMail.
Roman blinds can be fitted inside the window recess or outside of it, so you'll need to decide this before measuring up. Remember to allow for the stacking height when measuring, and follow our measuring guide online.
It's important not to let moisture settle on your roman blinds. Just wipe them with a clean, damp, cloth, without any detergent, and vacuum with the upholstery attachment. It is also not recommended to use any oil or lubricant on the blind parts.
Roman blinds bring a sense of luxury to any room, especially with our selection of materials and patterns. These types of blinds have been ever-popular and will always add style to any room whilst remaining functional in keeping the sun out and warmth in.
Whatever your planned or existing decor, we'll have a material or pattern to match amongst our range of roman blinds, from soft silks to timeless linen or quality velvet. Don't forget you can order samples, too.
Our roman blinds come with step-by-step fitting guides for a smooth installation. These fitting instructions will vary depending on whether you are installing them in the recess or outside of it. If you have any problems you can always contact us.
Blackout blinds are unique in that they have a very specific purpose; to keep light getting in! With six types of blind available - roller, vertical, roman, roof, pleated and perfect fit - you can choose the style you want whilst benefiting from the blackout function.
