Plantation shutters are a type of interior window covering featuring wide, horizontal louvres (slats) set inside a solid frame. They are fixed to the window frame and can be tilted to control light, airflow, and privacy.
Popular styles include:
Full Height: Cover the entire window, classic and versatile.
Tier-on-Tier: Two independent panels (top and bottom) for flexible light control.
Café Style: Cover only the lower half, ideal for privacy while keeping light in.
Just wipe with a soft cloth or duster. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
Louvres typically come in 63mm, 76mm and 89mm.
