The Somfy RTS Roll Up 28 1.1/28 Motor – External Power (1241444) is a compact tubular motor designed for roller blinds. Featuring integrated RTS radio technology, its short motor length makes it ideal for narrower blinds and installations where space inside the blind headrail or tube is limited. Designed for use with an external power source, it provides a flexible solution for installations where a rechargeable external battery pack or permanent mains power is preferred.
With a lifting capacity of up to 1.1Nm and a rotational speed of 28rpm, the motor delivers smooth, reliable wireless operation for a wide range of roller blind applications. It can be powered using either the Somfy Li-Ion RTS External Battery Pack (9021217) or the Somfy UK Mains Plug Power Pack (9029070), allowing you to choose between a rechargeable battery solution or a permanent mains powered installation.
When using the Somfy Li-Ion Solar Panel (9025293), the Somfy Li-Ion RTS External Battery Pack (9021217) is required, as the solar panel charges the battery pack rather than powering the motor directly.
Please Note: This motor is intended for indoor use only. It is compatible with Somfy RTS controls only and is not compatible with Somfy Li-Ion2 Zigbee products.
