Somfy Li-Ion Solar Panel

The Somfy Li-Ion Solar Panel (9025293) provides a convenient and environmentally friendly charging solution for compatible Somfy Li-Ion RTS External Battery Packs. By harnessing natural daylight, it provides a continuous trickle charge to help maintain the battery, reducing the need for manual recharging and extending the time between charging cycles.

Designed for use with the Somfy Li-Ion RTS External Battery Pack (9021217), the solar panel offers a discreet, low maintenance charging solution, making it ideal for regularly operated motorised blinds where access for charging may be limited.

For optimum performance, the solar panel should be installed indoors where it receives direct natural daylight. Performance will vary depending on the available light, and it is normal for the battery to receive more charge during the summer months than in winter. In periods of low light or heavy blind usage, occasional charging with the Somfy Li-Ion UK Charger (9021027) may still be required.

Please Note: This solar panel is intended for indoor use only. It is designed for use with the Somfy Li-Ion RTS External Battery Pack (9021217) and should not be installed on glazing with less than 65% light transmission, such as heavily tinted or certain Low-E glass. It is not compatible with Somfy Li-Ion2 Zigbee battery packs or USB-C charging accessories.
